After being closed for five months the school gates are finally reopening!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic schools had to unexpectedly close, which has been a strange and challenging time for everyone, the teachers, the children and the parents.

Plans have been put into place to help ensure a smooth transition back into the classroom, and for teachers to access what work needs to be done, to ensure all pupils are up to date with the curriculum.

Some schools are staggering the students’ return, and holding inductions to introduce the new guidelines to the pupils in a clear way, so that they are understood and followed.

Schools will look a bit different, as screen partitions have been put into place, hand sanitiser stations are in full force, and one way systems are the new norm.
